Ashton Valentines (she/her/they)
From the age of 5, Ashton has been immersed in the performing arts. Never once shy of the stage, she began her musical theater experience in a family friend’s backyard! Over the years, this early love for performance evolved into a lifelong passion, which has spanned multiple choirs, dance classes, and receiving classical piano training. Ashton’s diverse artistic background has been enriched by international travel, which deepened her understanding of the power of the arts to connect communities and foster cultural exchange.
With a degree in Communications, Ashton combines a deep appreciation for the performing arts with a commitment to education. As a Montessori preschool teacher, she brings a unique perspective to fostering creativity and collaboration in young learners. While she still enjoys the art of performance, Ashton now prefers supporting others from behind the scenes, helping to create opportunities for performers and bringing dream roles to life.
A passionate advocate for expanding educational opportunities in community theater, Ashton is dedicated to making the arts accessible to all. She has been warmly embraced by the Morris Park Players community and is excited to continue contributing to its mission of inspiring and empowering artists of all ages.
