Sydney Banks: Marketing and Communications Chair

Sydney Banks has served as Marketing and Communications Chair for Morris Park Players (MPP) since August 2024. She has over 10 years of experience in marketing, brand strategy, and project management, with a strong focus on building community-centered organizations through storytelling and digital engagement. In her professional work, Sydney develops integrated campaigns and strategic communications that strengthen brand visibility and user experience. 

Since joining the MPP board, Sydney has produced one show, performed in the pit orchestras, and designed the production programs, contributing both creatively and strategically to MPP. She is passionate about elevating MPP’s public presence, expanding audience reach, and supporting community engagement through effective marketing initiatives. Sydney lives in the Twin Cities metro area and enjoys participating in a variety of community theater groups across the region. As a parent, she is especially committed to engaging and inspiring young audiences in the wonder of community theater.
